Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats at Red Hat
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, a Colorado-based band that mixes rock, soul, country and R&B influences to create their music, is coming to Red Hat with West Virginian country artist Sierra Ferrell.

Bluegrass LIVE! in Downtown Raleigh
This two-day festival shuts down Fayetteville Street to bring Raleigh different street vendors, Artsplosure’s ArtMarket, a showcase highlighting Raleigh’s art community and artisans, and of course, Bluegrass music from dozens of bands and artists.

The 12th Annual Raleigh Blues Festival at Martin Marietta Center
The annual Blues Festival is coming back to Raleigh on September 29! Visit the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts to hear emotional storytelling through music from Blues artists King George, Pokey Bear, Lenny Williams, Lebrado, Theodis Ealey and J-Wonn.

Shovels and Rope at Haw River Ballroom
Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst from Charleston, South Carolina are the husband and wife that make up the folk duo that is Shovels and Rope. Join them on October 3rd at the Haw River Ballroom in Saapahaw, a unique venue in what was once the Dye House of Saxapahaw’s Historic Cotton Mill.

Hozier’s Unreal Unearth Tour at Red Hat Ampitheater
Popular Irish alternative artist Hozier is coming to Red Hat during the tour of his new studio album Unreal Unearth, a compilation of songs said to express themes of greed and sin. Hozier will be performing with folk/pop singer-songwriter Madison Cunningham.

Zac Brown Band’s From The Fire Tour at Walnut Creek
Zac Brown Band — a multiple Grammy- winning, nine-member folksy rock group based in Atlanta — is coming to Walnut Creek Amphitheater on its From The Fire Tour. Hear the band play now-classic country tunes like “Chicken Fried,” “Knee Deep” and “Colder Weather,” perfect songs for fall. King Calaway, a country band whose members hail from the United States, Scotland and Gibraltar, will open the show.

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit at Red Hat
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit is performing at Red Hat on tour with their new album Weathervanes. The Alabama-based band combines sounds of rock, country, folk and blues into their music. St. Paul & The Broken Bones’ The Angels in Science Fiction Tour at Carolina Theatre
The eight-man soul and R&B band from Alabama is performing at Carolina Theatre during the tour of their newest album, Angels In Science Fiction. The passionate vocals of lead singer Paul Janeway will fill the acoustics of Durham’s Carolina Theatre like no other, and they’ll be joined by Latin alternative band Y La Bamba.

Shania Twain’s Queen Of Me Tour at PNC
Canadian country music star Shania Twain is “still the one” we want performing in Raleigh! She’ll visit PNC Arena on tour for her 2023 album, Queen of Me, the first one she’s released in five years. Contemporary country- pop artist Lily Rose will open the show.

Warren Zeiders at The Ritz

The Brook & The Bluff at Lincoln Theatre
The Brook and the Bluff, an indie folk-rock band bred in Alabama and based in Nashville will be performing at Lincoln Theatre while on tour with their new album, Bluebeard. The concert’s lineup includes Bendigo Fletcher, a folk band from Kentucky that just released a new EP, Wingding.

Lake Street Drive’s Gather Round Sounds Tour at DPAC
From forming at New England Conservatory of Music in Boston to becoming No.1 on Americana/Folk music charts, Lake Street Drive is a band that blends the genres of R&B, jazz, folk, and pop to create their melodic sound. Monica Martin, experimental-folk-pop singer from Chicago will join Lake Street Drive at their concert at Durham Performing Arts Center in late October.

Lil Uzi Vert’s PINK TAPE TOUR at PNC
Well-known hip-hop and rap artist Lil Uzi Vert, known for having a pink diamond implanted in their forehead, is stopping at PNC Arena during The Pink Tape Tour. Lil Uzi Vert’s music has been described as punk and emo rap with rock influence. Pink Tape is expected to be one of the top rap album releases this year and it includes other rappers such as Travis Scott and Nicki Minaj.

Rayland Baxter at Haw River Ballroom
Nashville alternative country artist Rayland Baxter will be playing Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw in early November while on tour with his new self-produced album If I were A Butterfly. Baxter will perform with British indie-folk band Flyte. Take advantage of Haw River Ballroom’s food and drink vendors at the venue!

Dawn Landes at NC Museum of History
Tar Heel Troubadours, a music series hosted by the North Carolina Museum of History, is hosting Dawn Landes this month. Landes is currently on her 10-year anniversary tour Bluebird and living in the Tar Heel state. The indie folk singer-songer has all sorts of music collaborations on her resume from hits on shows like Gossip Girl and Good Wife to working with music icons like Norah Jones and Sufjan Stevens. Tar Heel Troubadours was launched this year to celebrate the many music genres with roots in North Carolina from bluegrass to Americana. Other recording artists like Bluegrass duo Liam Purcell & Cane Mill Road, country artist Paige King Johnson and Appalachian folk group The Blue Ridge Girls will grace the stage of the museum’s 300-seat auditorium.

The Front Bottoms at The Ritz
New Jersey born two-piece folk-punk band The Front Bottoms, known for their eclectic sound and cynical lyrics, is performing in Raleigh this November with Boston alternative rock band Slothrust. Visit Hummingbird for an early dinner before going over to The Ritz to see these two bands.

Easy Honey with The Mammoths at Pour House
Charleston, South Carolina-based four-piece indie-rock band Easy Honey will be performing at Pour House Music Hall & Record Shop this fall. Easy Honey describes their music as influenced by the folk roots of the band members with a mix of East Coast surf-rock. Easy Honey will play with The Mammoths, a rock band with psychedelia inspiration from Austin, Texas.

Eagles’ The Long Goodbye Final Tour at PNC
Since 1971, the Eagles have been one of the most iconic and influential rock bands in the world, with multiple Grammy Awards and countless classic hits. On the band’s farewell tour, The Long Goodbye Final Tour, they’ll be performing at PNC Arena with Steely Dan, another iconic American rock band. Get your tickets to see the Eagles for the last time.

Moon Taxi with The Stews at Lincoln Theatre
Nashville-based indie-progressive rock band Moon Taxi, and The Stews, an Auburn-based band that combines all aspects of the rock genre in their sound are performing together on the Lincoln Theatre Outdoor Stage this November. With both bands having just released new albums, Moon Taxi with the studio album Set Yourself Free and The Stews with their debut album What Was, this concert will undeniably be a fun one.
