On Sept. 22, Raleigh Rescue Mission celebrated the opening of The Garden, its Knightdale campus for women and children experiencing situational homelessness, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The $41 million campus has 101 private rooms and on-site daycare, plus life skills and job readiness programming, raising the mission’s capacity to serve women and children from
about 60 to 350 people daily.
