The Art & Soul of Raleigh
In James Dodson’s newest book, The Road that Mad In James Dodson’s newest book, The Road that Made America, the bestselling author traveled the 800-mile route that was forged by American settlers in pre-Colonial times. Running from Philadelphia to Georgia, it brought many of our ancestors to this area. On his journey, Dodson learned about the road by connecting with present-day experts, including historians, teachers & reenactors. This book is a collection of untold stories that weaves the fabled Great Wagon Road into present-day relevance. On July 23, we will host Dodson for an auditorium-style discussion + a signing opportunity, hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer to discuss these stories in person. Dodson will have this book and several of his past titles available for purchase. See stories to grab your ticket!

It’s also popular for leisure fishing.
