Work for WALTER

WALTER magazine relies on interns to support our small but mighty team. We offer internships throughout the school year and during the summer. Our internships are for school credit only and can be geared toward editorial, design, advertising, or events/multimedia experiences. Our internships are a great stepping stone for anyone with an interest in writing, communications and/or journalism.

We give our interns great opportunities to own projects and play a true role in producing WALTER content. Our goals are to train students in magazine-style writing and editing, to teach about the ever-changing magazine revenue model, and to sharpen skills in content marketing and branding. Our ideal interns are sharp thinkers, enthusiastic consumers of local culture, and always willing to pitch in on any tasks. Note: you must be able to receive school credit in order to apply for this internship.

If you are interested, you may submit your cover letter, resume and writing samples through the form below.
