The neighborhood of Historic Oakwood held its Samedi Gras celebration on Feb. 18. This annual celebration features the crowning of its new King and Empress, performances from the Oakwood Second Line Band, New Orleans-themed food and drink, kid’s activities and a parade through the neighborhood.
