The Whirl: Give Black Raleigh Her Flowers Now Opening

On Friday, May 6, Anchorlight celebrated the opening of Give Black Raleigh Her Flowers Now, an exhibition for Black Oak Society and its founder, Courtney Napier. A tribute to the Black women who built Raleigh, the exhibit featured portraits by Triangle photographers including Derrick Beasley, Samantha Everette, Anthony Fitzpatrick, Phill Loken and Cornell Watson.
