First Lady Kristin Cooper was the special guest at Raising Hope, a dinner and silent auction benefiting The Hope Center at Pullen, which supports youth aging out of foster care. Meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner served as emcee for the event held at the Glenwood June 6. Jessica Holmes, Chair of the Wake County Board of Commissioners, received one of three Bridge of Hope Awards.
