The Whirl: 100 Black Men of Triangle East 2026 Dayla

The 100 Black Men of Triangle East (100BMTE), a mentoring organization, held its 2026 Scholarship Dayla on May 30 at The Hibiscus Event Space. Hosted by Amanda Fitzpatrick, 100BMTE awarded six graduating seniors scholarships and treated attendees to a reception, presentations at the Mentee Business Summit and a silent auction. Chapter President Darrell Johnson awarded Member of the Decade to Patrick Lyons; Member of the Year to Anthony Lambert; and Mentee of the Year to Mekhi Banks.
