The Whirl: Beyond the Pitch

For the second year, North Carolina FC Youth held its Beyond the Pitch fundraiser to support youth access to soccer. The event, which was presented by TowneBank, was held at the Angus Barn and raised more than $225,000 for NCFC Youth’s Financial Aid Fund. The event welcomed more than 325 guests for an evening of exceptional food, silent and live auctions and remarks from Jamie Valvano, daughter of legendary NC State basketball coach Jim Valvano.
