The Whirl: Finding Lost Raleigh

On May 13, WALTER hosted Finding Lost Raleigh, an event centered around the book Lost Raleigh by Ian F. G. Dunn and Mary Ruffin Hanbury. Over wine and appetizers at Theatre in the Park, guests learned about the city’s history. The book builds on the work of the late Karl Larson, who gathered photographs and stories of Raleigh landmarks. Thank you to presenting sponsor Broughton 1929 Shop and supporting sponsor Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University for making the event possible. Thank you to our partners Raleigh Cheesy, Green Front Furniture, Trophy Brewing, Westgate Wine, If It’s Paper and Alphagraphics for making the event fun and delicious!
