From April 8 – 17, the Women’s Theatre Festival presented a virtual livestream production of a modern verse translation of OTHELLO by Mfoniso Udofia. This world premiere production was presented by director JaMeeka D. Holloway and a team of Black femme artists, including dramaturg Monèt Noelle Mar- shall, sound designer Aurelia Belfield, production designer/creative technical director Keyanna Alexander, costume and hair designer Aquila Butler, stage manager Didi Fields, assistant stage manager Taylor Murrell, assistant director Terra Hodge, assistant dramaturg Sha-Lamar Davis, and text coach Tia James.
