On Apr. 11, Cary hosted its premier festival dedicated to the Southern delicacy, pimento cheese. Visitors enjoyed free tastings and cheese carving competition, live music by The Embers, kids’ games and activities along with 50-plus food vendors — some serving pimento cheese-forward creations.
