In Nov. 6, the Women’s Giving Network held its 19th annual Impact Luncheon, where it awarded $40,000 each to grant recipients Boys & Girls Clubs, Carroll’s Kitchen and Wake Smiles. Shirnetta Harrell of No Woman, No Girl gave the keynote speech. The WGN is a giving circle of the North Carolina Community Foundation that brings together women who share the goal of improving the lives of women and children through philanthropy.
