Recently, we visited our local materials recycling facility (MRF) to see how all of our recyclable trash gets sorted and turned into bales for recycling. It was eye-opening, to say the least! One of the biggest takeaways: Even the good-intentioned people like me, aka the “wishful recyclers,” can be putting things into recycling that are not recyclable, clogging up the works.
