On a mild Saturday in August, an intergenerational and multi-racially diverse group of over 200 people gathered to dance and laugh to some great music. The event took place at John Chavis Memorial Park and was produced by The City of Raleigh and the African American Cultural Festival. While numbers fell short of the 426 people needed to break the Guinness World Record, it was an amazing to see hundreds of people dancing and laughing together to some great music.
