The CEO and co-founder of Andia’s Ice Cream shares her guilty pleasure, where she takes out-of-town guests, her favorite coffee spot, and more.

For our 2024 Guide to Where to Eat and Drink in the Triangle, we asked ten food and hospitality industry folks to share their tried and true spots for everything from a casual lunch to happy hour to a place that’s worth hopping in the car and heading out of town. Andia Xouris was one of those interviewees. Her and her husband George opened their first ice cream store in 2010 — the same year they moved here from New Jersey. “We always knew we would someday own our own business,” says Xouris. “When we moved here, that’s when George said, Let’s go for it!” Today, they have three retail stores, offer catering and ship nationwide. Read on her for her favorite spots around town.
