Raleigh City Farm, a nonprofit urban farm, hosted its seventh annual Harvest Dinner October 13 at Whitaker and Atlantic. The dinner featured Chef Coleen Speaks of Hummingbird and PoshNosh Catering and beverage partners Wine Authorities and Fullsteam Brewery. The evening’s festivities, that included a seasonal four-course meal and a silent and live auction, netted $30,000 to support the nonprofit’s mission to grow farmers and connect the community to sustainable agriculture through workdays, tours, events and educational programming.
