Celebrating 10 years in 2019, the Walnut Creek Wetland Center is a wild sanctuary and education facility just minutes from downtown Raleigh. It came to being through efforts from the Partners for Environmental Justice, a group that started with St. Ambrose Episcopal Church that blossomed into a movement to preserve wetlands and bring green space to an underserved neighborhood.
